What is a Creyos Health assessment?
Creyos Health assessments are composed of brief cognitive tasks and/or self-report questionnaires that provide objective insights into a patient’s brain function and mental health. These assessments are:
-
Digital and device-agnostic – can be taken in-clinic or remotely
-
Flexible and modular – providers can assign a full or partial battery depending on clinical need
-
Designed for ease of use – patients do not need any technical expertise to complete them
Use the Creyos Health Introduction for Patients to help introduce Creyos Health assessments to patients, explain their purpose, and address questions about the experience.
How long do assessments take?
- Cognitive Tasks: A full battery includes up to 12 tasks and takes approximately 40 minutes to complete. Each task ranges from 90 seconds to 3 minutes in length. The protocol is fully customizable—providers can assign a subset of tasks based on clinical goals, patient tolerance, or time constraints.
- Condition-Focused Protocols: For targeted assessments such as those designed for ADHD or dementia screening, condition-specific protocols typically include a streamlined set of tasks and take approximately 20 to 25 minutes to complete. These are optimized to balance clinical insight with efficiency.
- Questionnaires: Self-report questionnaires range from 2 to 10 minutes each, depending on the instrument selected (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7, ASRS, MDQ). These can be administered independently or alongside cognitive tasks to provide a more comprehensive assessment.
Tip for providers: Emphasize that assessments are not tests patients can pass or fail—they’re tools to better understand brain and mental health.
