The Updated MCI Screener FAQs

Making cognitive testing more approachable for both patients and providers is always a priority—so an update is coming to the MCI screener to support more efficient workflows and a better patient experience.

What this means for Creyos users

  • The Double Trouble task will be replaced with Feature Match, a validated task that is more intuitive for patients and better suited for a wide range of literacy levels.
  • This update delivers the same accurate MCI screening as the previous version, but with a more approachable set of tasks that require less hands-on staff support.
  • Any historical data and reports from previously administered screeners will remain available in your Creyos account.

We’ve put together some Frequently Asked Questions, including how this impacts the screener results and your workflows. If you'd like to dive deeper into the science behind the update, read more in this article or watch this quick video overview with Mike Battista, Director of Science & Research.
